Privacy Notice

Terms & Conditions

You will no doubt be aware the General Data Protection Regulation ( GDPR ) applies from Friday 25th May this year. As part of our GDPR compliance implementation programme, we wanted to write to you and advise you of our updated Privacy Policy in which we explain in detail how we use your personal information.

What’s new with GDPR?

Whilst the law changes in reality this is an evolution of existing laws and builds upon best practice.

We have always strived to adopt best practice in relation to the collection, storage and processing of your data and will continue to do so. We take your privacy very seriously and adhere to the highest standards to protect your personal information.

What data do we hold and what do we do with it?

In essence nothing will change in the way which we use your personal data. We collect data about you in your application form and in dealings with you as a customer. We store your data on computer while you are currently trading with us. If use haven’t made a transaction within 12 months, your account is reviewed and closed and all data information is erased.

We also carry out CCTV surveillance at our store which is clearly labelled all round the premises. We carry out this surveillance to ensure customer safety. Through surveillance cameras, the police can both prevent crimes from happening and can quickly solve criminal cases with material evidence. In addition, surveillance cameras protect against property theft and vandalism.

We hold Surveillance records for up to 31 days, then they are erased. If an incidence does occur surveillance maybe kept on file here or handed to the police if it requires a legal matter.

We will always take great care of your personal data giving it the respect and security it deserves.

What happens next?

There is no need for you to take any action at this point.

Thank you for reading and we hope to welcome you again soon in our branch.
